Children are a priority here at Longview Heights. Research shows that between the ages of 5-12, there is a 32% probability that a child will receive Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. Between the ages of 13-18, that drops to 4%! Our desire is to see each child come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ and then teach them how to grow in that relationship with Him. By the time they enter our Youth Ministry, we want to see them walking with Jesus, loving Him with all their heart, and serving Him and others. We also have a desire to partner with our parents to help them fulfill Biblical principles in “training up a child in the way that he should go,” by offering parenting courses and Bible Studies throughout the year. There are many areas to serve within our Children’s Ministry. No matter your gift, there is a place for you! We hope you find Longview Heights a place that your kids love to attend! We want it to be a place your family is able to worship and serve together. Please feel free to contact me anytime. I would love to hear from you! Wendy Johnston, Children's Ministry Director |
